Our Work
We bring books to New Orleans residents at all reading levels. Our programs are free and provide users with engaging, relevant books that they are excited to read.

Library Curation
We design, organize, and curate libraries in local housing shelters and provide weekly maintenance and programming for library users. The books in our libraries cover a range of topics and genres tailored to the users. We take book requests, provide book reviews and write recommendations to make the space welcoming and intuitive to use. We will provide literacy-based, age appropriate activities for younger readers to promote reading comprehension.
Classroom Book Exchange
We work with teachers to collaborate on book selections that align with students’ interests and current lessons. We offer new teachers a beginner book collection. We will also loan teachers a curated set of books from our organization’s library so each student in a class will have relevant books. This way, we loan one set of books to several classrooms depending on when a given class learns the topic. Teachers can check out a set of books for some time, and then we retrieve them and bring them to another school or classroom. We are committed to providing books that represent and engage the children who read them.
